My name is Mrs. Yauch I have been an aide in Kindergarten for 4 years now. I really enjoy meeting and teaching the new kinders in the district.  Our class is fun and welcoming!  My favorite thing about teaching kindergarten is watching them learn and accomplish new things.  In class I enjoy teaching reading and writing.

 

This is something I never pictured myself doing! But I love it! My teaching history includes camp counselor at  outdoor schools in Multnomah county and various boy scout camps. I got to know the school by volunteering for our PTA unit and subbing in classrooms. After 2 years of subbing I applied for a position and ended up as an aide in kindergarten.    

 

I was born in Klamath Falls, Or but grew up in Portland, Or.  Our family moved down to Southern Oregon in 2012 from Portland to be closer to my family and we really love it here. Rogue River is a great place to raise our two children along with a dog, and a cat.  I enjoy the outdoors and gardening and camping are two of my favorite things.  

 

Every September I always look forward to meeting our new students and can’t wait to spend the school year with them learning new things and having fun!
