Current Certified Staff
It is the responsibility of each licensed staff member to keep his/her license and all endorsements current. Teachers are cautioned that failure to maintain license and endorsements may invalidate their contract with the District. Please review carefully any information received from TSPC. It is the responsibility of the employee to comply with TSPC requirements. The District may provide employees with reminders, but those reminders do not relieve staff of their responsibility for maintaining their own license.
In some cases, licensure by itself is not enough. Employees must maintain both proper licensure and Highly Qualified Status as required by state and federal laws. Failure to meet the requirments of HQ status may result in the withdrawl of an offer of employment. Employees who fail to maintain HQ status may jeopardize their employment status.
